BurnTok Terms of Service

statements here against the actual implementation and confirmed that the change-notice,

termination, liability-limitation and jurisdiction clauses take the form Korean law normally

expects. This is not a lawyer's review — if outside counsel reviews the text, the result

will be published under a new effective date. The community rules shown in the Service are

part of these Terms; they are accepted separately inside the app and recorded per version.

This is a translation of the Korean original, which prevails if the two ever

disagree.

1. Purpose

These Terms set out the conditions and procedures for using the BurnTok service provided by the Operator, and the rights and obligations of users and the Operator.

3. Accounts

  1. The Service allows viewing and running a shared drop without signing in. Member features —

creating, zapping, commenting, messaging — require linking one of Google, Kakao, Naver or Apple.

  1. You must be 14 or older to sign up.
  2. You may delete your account at any time from the account deletion screen in the app or on the

web. Deletion is possible even if you have not accepted the community rules.

  1. Deleting your account does not delete the linked social account itself. You can revoke the

connection in that provider's settings.

4. Rights in content

  1. You own the rights in the content you create.
  2. You grant the Operator the licence needed for the Service to store, transmit and display your

content, and for other users to run and remix it within the Service. This licence is limited to the purpose of providing the Service and ends when you delete your account. Remixes other users have already made may remain as those users' content.

  1. A drop set to public visibility can be remixed by other users. Adjust the visibility if you

do not want that.

  1. You must not upload content that infringes other people's rights.

5. AI generation

  1. The Service sends the text you enter to an external AI provider (DeepSeek) to generate or edit a

mini app.

  1. **Generated results are not guaranteed to be accurate, suitable, or free of rights

infringement.** You are responsible for checking a result before saving or publishing it.

  1. Do not enter personally identifiable or confidential information.
  2. AI generation requests may be limited to a daily count to prevent abuse.

6. Prohibited conduct

In addition to the community rules, the following is prohibited.

  1. Sexual, hateful or abusive content, and attacks on other people
  2. Impersonating another user's account, automated bulk requests, and interfering with the Service
  3. Unauthorised scraping, copying or reverse engineering of the Service or other users' content
  4. Breaking the law or infringing other people's rights

7. Reports and enforcement

  1. Every drop, comment and message can be reported, and reports are reviewed within 24 hours.
  2. Users can block other users.
  3. Where a violation is confirmed, the Operator may delete the content, limit its visibility,

suspend use, or terminate the account. Serious violations may be acted on without prior notice.

  1. If you disagree with an action, you may contest it at the contact email.

8. Changes to and suspension of the Service

The Operator may change or discontinue the Service. Significant changes that are unfavourable to users are announced in advance. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to maintenance, faults or force majeure.

9. Liability

  1. The Service is provided as is; the Operator does not warrant that it will be uninterrupted or

error free.

  1. The Operator is not responsible for user-created content or for disputes between users, but does

carry out its obligation to handle reports.

  1. Except in cases of the Operator's intent or gross negligence, liability for damage arising from

use of the Service is limited to the extent permitted by law.

10. Fees

The Service is currently free. If paid features are introduced, they will be announced in advance and consented to separately.

11. Changes to these Terms

The Operator may change these Terms. Changes are posted with their effective date and content both as an in-app notice and on this policy page. Ordinary changes are announced 7 days before they take effect; changes unfavorable to users or materially affecting users' rights and obligations are announced 30 days before they take effect. If you do not object during the notice period and continue to use the Service after the effective date, that is treated as agreement. If you do not agree, you may delete your account to end your use.

12. Governing law and jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Disputes are brought before the court having jurisdiction under the Korean Civil Procedure Act. Where you are a consumer, this does not exclude the jurisdiction of the court at your address as provided by law.

13. Operator information

The Operator is an individual without a business registration; the Service is free and has no in-app purchase. The Operator's name, address and contact details follow what is displayed on the App Store and Google Play product pages, and inquiries are accepted at the contact address above.
